From Leaf to Legacy: How Fanji Matcha Protects Its Mountain Origins

High in the misty peaks of Guizhou, every leaf of Fanji Matcha is grown under the philosophy of “give back to the land.”
Our tea farms rely on natural spring water and traditional shade-cultivation that reduces soil exhaustion and chemical dependency.
Instead of industrial fertilizers, we use plant-based compost created from tea stems and natural minerals.
Each season, farmers rotate crops to preserve biodiversity, allowing wild herbs and insects to thrive around the tea gardens.
By maintaining this ecological balance, we not only protect the mountain ecosystem but also preserve the rich, umami flavor unique to Guizhou’s altitude-grown matcha.
